The official Israeli account on the platform "X" shared a sarcastic remark in Persian regarding the funeral ceremony of Iran's late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

According to the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, the message was a response to the funeral of Khamenei, who was killed in an airstrike at the start of the war initiated by Israel and the United States against Iran.

The comment stated, "Thousands attended the funeral in Tehran," but Israel expressed displeasure because "many did not come to mourn but to make sure he was really dead."

Iranian sources anticipated that the funeral of the country's former Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, would draw around 20 million people into the streets of Tehran by the end of this week.

A report by the British newspaper The Telegraph indicated that these expectations followed a delay in holding the official state funeral, which could only be organized after a memorandum of understanding was reached with the United States.

Khamenei, aged 86, was killed along with twelve family members in Israeli air raids targeting his residence on February 28, the first day of the war.
