UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni discussed bilateral cooperation and regional developments during a phone call on Sunday.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of the Italian Republic, discussed various avenues of cooperation and joint action between the two countries and ways to enhance them, particularly in economic and developmental fields serving their mutual interests, within the framework of the strategic partnership linking both nations. The discussion took place during a phone call on Sunday.
The two sides affirmed, during the call, their keenness to continue strengthening joint efforts to achieve the goals of their strategic partnership, bringing growth and prosperity to their peoples.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and the Italian Prime Minister also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common interest and exchanged views on them, foremost among them being the developments witnessed in the Middle East region, and the efforts made regarding them to consolidate the causes of security and stability in the region and the world for the benefit of all its peoples.
