Mostafa Khamenei to Deliver Message on Father's Funeral Soon

On Saturday, Iranian television announced that Mostafa Khamenei, the new Supreme Leader, will release a message in the coming hours concerning the funeral of his deceased father.

The body of Iran's former Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was buried on Friday after more than four months following his death in an airstrike, with his son Mostafa absent from the ceremony.

The funeral proceedings began last Saturday, during which authorities closed streets, airspace, and daily activities in Tehran and other cities, while large crowds commemorated the man who led Iran for decades.
