Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened "enemies," warning that Israel is prepared to respond.

Netanyahu stated shortly before the elections, scheduled in two days, that intelligence indicates "the enemies may try to challenge us with attacks to obstruct the elections."

He added, "The Israeli army is on high alert for both defense and offense. I warn our enemies: you will receive severe blows, stronger than you imagine," according to his expression.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is intensifying his moves with US President Donald Trump, demanding more public support for his election campaign ahead of the elections scheduled for Tuesday, amid fierce political competition threatening his future in power.

Axios reported, citing a US source familiar with the matter and an Israeli source briefed on the efforts, that Netanyahu asked Trump in recent days to strengthen his endorsement, in an attempt to rally support before the electoral event.

According to the US source, the American administration views the intensive moves led by Netanyahu to obtain additional support from Trump as reflecting "a state of desperation," indicating the Israeli prime minister's belief that he is trailing in the electoral race.
