Russian air defense forces shot down 153 Ukrainian drones overnight across 16 Russian regions, Crimea, Tatarstan, Krasnodar Krai, and over the Sea of Azov and Black Sea.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that its air defense units intercepted and destroyed 153 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles during the night of Sunday.
The ministry confirmed in an official statement that the downed drones were detected and neutralized over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, Samara, Smolensk, Tver, and Tula oblasts. The operation also covered Moscow Oblast, the Republic of Crimea, the Republic of Tatarstan, and Krasnodar Krai.
In addition, Russian air defense engaged and destroyed Ukrainian drones over the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
According to the ministry, the Ukrainian Armed Forces conduct daily strikes against residential neighborhoods, critical civilian infrastructure, industrial facilities, and energy installations located both in Russia’s border regions and deeper within its territory. These attacks employ unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles.
In response, Russian forces carry out precision strikes exclusively against Ukrainian military facilities and defense industry enterprises. These operations utilize guided weapons launched from air, sea, and land platforms, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.
