Andrei Vorobyov, Governor of the Moscow Region, stated via the Telegram app on Tuesday that a Ukrainian drone attack resulted in one death and six injuries in the region encompassing the Russian capital.

Sergei Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, had earlier announced that Russia shot down most of the 650 drones launched toward Moscow during the night, including 105 drones downed near the city itself.

Last week, three people were killed and two others injured following a Ukrainian drone attack on the region, according to Reuters citing authorities in the Krasnodar region of Russia.

The local task force reported that fires ignited at industrial sites due to the attack have been extinguished.

In response, Mykhailo Symykyn, acting governor of the Zaporizhzhia region in Ukraine, said via Telegram on Tuesday that Russia shelled a bridge over the Dnieper River in the region, causing traffic disruptions and injuring two people.
