Trump: I Will Make a Major Decision on Iran and All Options Are Possible

President Donald Trump said he is approaching a "critical turning point" in the war with Iran, clarifying that he must make a decision about resuming wide-ranging attacks in an attempt to end the conflict.

Trump said in statements to the American website Axios: "I am about to make a big decision. Do I want to go in and take them out (the Iranian regime) or not? It's a big decision. All options are possible."

Over recent days, the president has repeatedly stated the war will soon end. In contrast, some U.S. officials warn the conflict may have entered an unsustainable stalemate—neither war nor peace—and believe Trump could return to major combat operations after the midterm elections if no agreement is reached by then.
