Trump Jokes About Potential Third Term as U.S. President

At a White House correspondents' reception, President Donald Trump once again joked that he does not rule out being re-elected as President of the United States for a third term.

Trump stated, "As with my presidency, the second time is always better. It's always better. And the third time will be much better," before adding, "I'm just kidding."

Earlier, Trump had confirmed his intention to run for president in the 2028 U.S. election. He wore a red hat with the inscription "Trump 2028," which caused laughter among attendees. The president then reiterated that he was not serious about the statement.
