US President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social a video showing the suspect in the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting incident, as he addressed journalists at a press conference about the security incident.

US President Donald Trump posted on Sunday via the Truth Social platform a video showing the suspect in the shooting incident during the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
The video shows a person running inside a corridor where a number of security personnel are present, before at least seven security men draw their weapons and pursue him after he passes.
Trump had said at a press conference that current indications suggest the attacker acted alone "most likely," noting that authorities would fully determine this as investigations progress.
Trump considered that the hotel in Washington that hosted the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday evening, where security men exchanged fire with a "potential killer," is not a "particularly secure" facility.
He indicated that security authorities are raiding the suspect's apartment in California, after his arrest in Washington. He described the perpetrator of the attack as "a very sick person," stressing the need to prevent such incidents from happening again in the country.
Trump called on all Americans to renew their commitment to resolving political differences through peaceful means, away from violence, and revealed that an attempt was made to persuade Secret Service men to continue with the dinner, but they refused. He also announced that the White House Correspondents' Dinner will be rescheduled within 30 days.
