Trump Rejects Iran's Right to 60% Uranium Enrichment
President Trump states there is no justification for Iran to enrich uranium to 60% and demands Tehran surrender or destroy its current stockpile.

President Donald Trump affirmed that Iran has no justification for enriching uranium to a 60% level, emphasizing that the U.S. administration will not permit Tehran to retain its existing stockpile of highly enriched uranium.
He added that Washington's conditions in ongoing negotiations require Iran to either hand over or completely destroy its uranium enriched to 60%, as part of efforts to reach a new nuclear agreement.
Trump referred to what he called the "dollar-for-dust equation," indicating that the U.S. administration seeks to offer economic concessions and partial sanctions relief in exchange for the complete elimination of this uranium stockpile.
Furthermore, according to statements by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the U.S. administration stressed that non-nuclear-weapon states do not need to enrich uranium domestically and can import ready fuel for their civilian reactors.
