Trump Says Iran Is Currently in Talks and Netanyahu to Visit Washington Soon

President Donald Trump stated that Iran is currently engaged in discussions with the U.S. administration, revealing that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit the United States in the coming days.

Speaking at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner on Friday, Trump said, "The Iranian side is talking to us now and is very eager to reach an agreement."

He added, "I don't think Iran is ready to make a deal at this time, but I am willing to listen. We have hit Iran very hard and destroyed their entire air force, including 250 warplanes."

Regarding the upcoming visit, Trump said, "Netanyahu will visit the United States in a few days," and referred to Senator Chuck Schumer as "Palestinian."

Trump also stated, "Tomorrow, I will send Schumer a beautiful Palestinian outfit so he can welcome Netanyahu when he comes to the city in the next few days."

On the domestic front, Trump emphasized, "In the United States, we believe in freedom of expression and resolve our differences through dialogue; we do not give in to political violence."

Trump and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt attended the White House Correspondents' Association dinner held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Washington on Friday.

The event was rescheduled after being postponed in April due to an incident where a man attempted to breach the security perimeter and fired a hunting rifle before being arrested.
