Donald Trump stated that the US granted Iran a one-week grace period to stop operations for holding Supreme Leader Khamenei's funeral ceremony.

During the 250th anniversary of the United States' independence, President Donald Trump reiterated the greatness of the country.
Speaking at Mount Rushmore in South Dakota on Independence Day, Trump revealed that America had given Iran a one-week deadline to cease operations to allow the funeral ceremonies for Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, describing this gesture as an act of kindness.
He affirmed that Iranians are eagerly seeking, by all means, to reach a political settlement with the US side.
Trump noted that his administration had delivered very severe strikes to Tehran and resolved the confrontation with Venezuela within a single day.
He expressed the view that America has already entered its golden era, adding, "We are still at the starting point," and claimed that no country in the world has contributed more positively to humanity than the United States.
Trump warned against the Democratic Party returning to the presidency and power, stating that if they do, they will attempt to enact laws and amendments that would eliminate any chance for Republicans to win future elections.
He pointed out the presence of "newcomers to the United States who embrace communist ideas completely at odds with the American way of life and economic success," emphasizing that "the disagreement is not political over taxes and regulations but represents a confrontation with communism, which poses a deadly threat to freedom." He also said that the American identity is facing "a renewed attack from zealots and extremists within the country."
