Trump Says War in Ukraine Nearing End, Prefers Agreement with Iran
Donald Trump expressed optimism about ending the Ukraine war and emphasized his preference for a deal with Iran over regime change.

Former US President Donald Trump stated that he believes the war in Ukraine is approaching its conclusion, noting that both the Russian and Ukrainian presidents desire to end the conflict and that he thinks a resolution will be achieved.
In remarks to reporters, Trump said, "I am not seeking regime change in Iran and prefer to reach an agreement because I do not want to harm 91 million people. Either Iran will make a deal or we will complete the mission, and that will not be difficult. We have obtained concessions from Iran, and they must adhere to them. We will also acquire Iran's highly enriched uranium."
Trump added that regardless of whether Iran agrees to a deal, "we will be victorious in both scenarios," and he believes oil prices are currently lower than they were before the start of the "epic wrath" operation against Iran. He also mentioned that the US Navy has imposed the greatest blockade the world has seen on Iran, with no ship managing to breach it.
He further explained, "We can disrupt Iran's energy supplies and destroy all the major facilities they have built," emphasizing that "we are not providing any money to Iran."
