U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his assertion that the Strait of Hormuz "is now under American control," adding, "Should we rename it the 'Trump Strait'?
Trump said Iran "was just two weeks away from manufacturing nuclear weapons, and I destroyed it," adding: "If we had allowed Iran to possess nuclear weapons, they would be using them now because they are insane."
He noted that U.S. forces destroyed 28 Iranian Revolutionary Guard boats and ships yesterday, Tuesday.
