Turkey's Foreign Ministry confirmed a drone strike on a Turkish-flagged cargo ship in the Black Sea, injuring two Turkish nationals.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry announced that a Turkish cargo ship flying the flag of Vanuatu was attacked by a drone yesterday while transporting goods from the Ukrainian port of Odesa to Turkey.
In an official statement, the ministry reported that two Turkish citizens aboard the ship sustained minor injuries. It added that the Turkish Consulate General in Odesa is closely monitoring the condition of the Turkish nationals working on the affected vessel.
Turkey expressed serious concern over the risks and threats posed by recent escalations related to the war in the Black Sea region. The ministry warned about the potential negative consequences these developments could have on the country and issued a caution to all involved parties at all levels.
The Foreign Ministry reiterated its warnings to all concerned parties to avoid any actions that might escalate the conflict beyond control.
Furthermore, Turkey reaffirmed its ongoing calls to ensure the safety of maritime navigation for civilian ships in the Black Sea and to end the war through negotiations. It emphasized its readiness to implement binding regional measures aimed at preventing escalation and accelerating the peace process.
