Two Latvian Men Detained After Breaching Molsworth Air Base Fence
British counter-terrorism police arrested two Latvian nationals after they breached the perimeter of an air base hosting a NATO intelligence center.

British police have detained two Latvian citizens, aged 32 and 36, following their unauthorized entry into the grounds of Molsworth Air Base during the night between Wednesday and Thursday. The facility houses several installations, including a NATO intelligence center.
Counter-Terrorism Investigation Launched
The incident is currently under investigation by counter-terrorism units. This arrest follows closely on the heels of a separate security breach reported just days earlier near another British military installation utilized by the US Army.
No Link Between Incidents Confirmed
Helen Flanagan, a senior official with London’s counter-terrorism command, addressed the situation in a formal statement. She clarified that at this stage of the inquiry, there is no evidence suggesting a connection between the two recent breaches.
