UAE Expresses Solidarity with Qatar After Ras Laffan Industrial Explosion

The United Arab Emirates has expressed its solidarity with Qatar after an explosion occurred at a factory within the Ras Laffan industrial zone, resulting in injuries to multiple individuals.

In an official statement released on Monday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the country's support for the Qatari government and its people in the wake of this unfortunate incident, wishing a swift recovery for all those injured.

Qatari authorities reported that the explosion in the Ras Laffan gas industrial area caused injuries to 54 people, with 18 others still unaccounted for as search efforts continue.

The Ministry of Interior of Qatar described the incident, which took place late Sunday evening, as a "technical accident" responsible for the explosion in the Ras Laffan industrial region.
