US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the conflict in Ukraine will be among the agenda items at the upcoming Group of Seven (G7) summit scheduled for June in France. He also confirmed that Ukraine has been invited to participate in the event.

Addressing the US Senate, Rubio said, "The Russia-Ukraine conflict is always on the table because it directly affects at least three or four members of the G7."
