US Central Command Reports Iran Fired Ballistic Missile at Kuwait
The US Central Command confirmed Iran launched a ballistic missile toward Kuwait, which Kuwaiti forces successfully intercepted.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Thursday that Iran fired a ballistic missile toward Kuwait during the night, with Kuwaiti forces successfully intercepting the missile.
CENTCOM stated the missile was launched at 10:17 p.m. Eastern Time.
Washington and Tehran exchanged military strikes overnight following hours after the US president pledged to reach a positive agreement to end the war amid a fragile ceasefire.
The US military conducted strikes targeting a location near the Strait of Hormuz, which posed a threat to US forces and commercial navigation, according to a US official.
In response, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched an attack on a US airbase, identifying it as the source of the American strikes.
The Central Command described the Iranian actions as a blatant violation of the ceasefire, occurring hours after Iranian forces launched five one-way attack drones that posed a clear threat inside and near the Strait of Hormuz.
CENTCOM added that US forces intercepted all the drones and also prevented a sixth drone from being launched from an Iranian ground control site in Bandar Abbas.
Separately, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared on Thursday that it reserves the right to take "all necessary measures" to defend its territory, labeling the attack as a "serious escalation."
