The US Central Command announced a new round of strikes targeting around 90 Iranian military sites to reduce Iran's ability to attack commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
The US military announced on Thursday the completion of an additional series of strikes against Iran.
In a statement, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said it had carried out another round of attacks aimed at further diminishing Iran's capability to assault commercial ships and innocent civilian sailors in the Strait of Hormuz.
The statement added that US forces targeted approximately 90 Iranian military objectives.
The strikes encompassed air defense systems, coastal surveillance assets, missile and drone storage sites, naval capabilities, and military logistical infrastructure along the Iranian coastline.
These operations followed the successful execution of offensive strikes inside Iran the previous night.
On July 7, the US Central Command had targeted about 80 Iranian military sites, including more than 60 small boats belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, aiming to impose a heavy cost on Iran for violating the ceasefire by attacking three commercial vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

The command affirmed that US forces remain fully vigilant, possess the necessary combat capabilities, and are prepared to carry out any operations directed by the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
