Washington: Hezbollah Will Not Recover Under Trump; We Will Continue to Suffocate Its Financial Resources
The US State Department stated that Hezbollah will never recover under the Trump administration and denied reports of a $200 million Iranian transfer, accusing the group of causing billions in damage to Lebanon.

The US State Department confirmed in statements to Al Hadath channel that "Hezbollah will never be able to recover under President Donald Trump's administration," stressing the continued imposition of sanctions to suffocate its financial resources.
The US State Department denied the validity of circulating news about Iran sending $200 million to Hezbollah, considering that the party promotes narratives through anonymous sources about Iranian funds flowing to it in order to "save face."
It accused the party of igniting a war on behalf of Tehran, which, according to its expression, caused damages estimated at billions of dollars, stating that it "brought nothing but misery to Lebanon" and caused suffering for the Lebanese people.
In contrast, the US State Department affirmed that Washington will continue to support the capabilities of the Lebanese government in efforts to rebuild the south.
Regarding Iran, it considered that the Iranian regime is living in a state of anxiety and anticipation, noting that Iranian oil exports are facing severe blockade.
