Zelenskyy Announces New Personnel Decisions Following Security Corruption Scandal
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced further personnel changes in the security apparatus following a corruption scandal involving high-ranking officials protecting criminal networks.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Saturday that there would be more "personnel decisions" within the internal security service, following recent dismissals due to a corruption scandal that sparked public outrage, according to Reuters.
In his evening address, Zelenskyy described what anti-corruption police revealed—that senior security and law enforcement officials were protecting a criminal gang—as "frankly shameful and absolutely unacceptable."
He stated: "Dismissals have already occurred in the Ukrainian Security Service because of this matter, and other personnel decisions will be made."
According to investigations led by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the specialized anti-corruption prosecutor's office, a criminal network is suspected of paying bribes to officials in security and police agencies.
The network, according to the investigations, provided protection for fraudulent call centers and illegal commercial activities.
Search operations were conducted on November 4, and the detention of several suspects was announced.
