The Turkish Central Bank and Syria's Central Bank have signed an agreement to open a Turkish lira deposit in Turkey under Syria's name.
The Turkish Central Bank announced today that it has signed an agreement with Syria's Central Bank allowing the opening of a deposit in Turkish lira at the Turkish bank in the name of the Syrian counterpart.
The central bank governors of Turkey and Syria signed the agreement, the Turkish bank stated.
