Dan Adam, the wife of Egyptian national team head coach Hassan Hassan, stated she is under pressure and facing threats from known individuals to prevent her from speaking publicly. She confirmed she will file official complaints regarding all incidents, emphasizing that Egypt is a state governed by law.

Adam recently gave new statements expressing her desire to divorce Hassan. Her remarks followed appearances on several media outlets and social media platforms, where she appealed directly to her husband to finalize divorce procedures.

An incident erupted this summer between Adam — Hassan’s second wife — and his first wife, Hawaida Al-Gharbawi, in the North Coast area. The dispute escalated to police involvement before concluding with reconciliation between the two women.

Subsequently, Hassan divorced his first wife. Shortly thereafter, Adam surprised the public by declaring her own intention to seek divorce, citing personal harm resulting from recent events.

“My Body Bears Witness”

In a televised interview, Adam said: “What drives me to separate is my children — I will not relinquish their rights. My body bears witness to what occurred over the past years, and I have endured many things no woman should bear.”

When asked by the host whether she meant Hassan had physically assaulted her, Adam replied only: “No comment. I will not speak about the matter, because any statement concerning him will be followed by defamation.”

She revealed she is being pressured and threatened by known figures to remain silent on the issue. “I will file complaints about everything happening to me,” she affirmed, “because we live in a country governed by law. I have four children: two from my marriage to Hassan Hassan and two from a previous marriage.”

Addressing Hassan tearfully, Adam said: “By God, until the very last moment, I stood by you — but I am unable to continue my life with him. I love him, yet the situation now revolves entirely around my children, making matters extremely difficult for me. This time, I see no way out. Even if you prevail over me, you will prevail over your own children. All I have asked for is divorce so I may raise my children. I entered a community unlike my own, and I tried to distance Hassan Hassan from friends who cannot be trusted.”

Dan Adam’s real name is Dina Mustafa. She has previously appeared on multiple television programs to discuss her life and relationship with Hassan Hassan.

According to her account during an earlier televised appearance, she first met Hassan Hassan in 2015 at a marina on the North Coast, during the period when “the Brigadier General” was coaching Al-Masry Club in Port Said.

Hassan Hassan described their initial meeting as incidental. Adam, however, stated she had known him for years as one of Egypt’s most prominent football stars and recalled being at the marina with two friends when she saw him.
