Borussia Dortmund has agreed to a season-long loan for Arsenal forward Ethan Nwaneri, with the German club covering his full salary, according to Fabrizio Romano.
German club Borussia Dortmund has finalized a season-long loan agreement for Arsenal forward Ethan Nwaneri, concluding the move in the final hours of the ongoing summer transfer window.
Fabrizio Romano, the Italian football transfer analyst, announced the deal on his X account, stating: “EXCLUSIVELY… Borussia Dortmund have reached an oral agreement to sign Ethan Nwaneri from Arsenal… The deal is DONE!”
Romano added: “An agreement has been reached for Nwaneri’s loan to Dortmund for the full season, after the player accepted the move in recent hours.”
He concluded: “Sources at Borussia Dortmund confirmed the German club will fully cover the player’s salary during the loan period.”
Nwaneri had previously been linked with a move to AC Milan during the same summer transfer window.
The player is no longer part of Mikel Arteta’s plans at Arsenal.
