Bruno Competes with Arsenal Trio for England's Best Player Award
Bruno Fernandes and three Arsenal players are among the six finalists for the 2026 England Best Player award announced by the Professional Footballers' Association.
The Professional Footballers' Association in England has revealed the final shortlist of six candidates for the 2026 Best Player award, featuring some of the Premier League's top performers from the past season.
Leading clubs had strong representation on the list, with Manchester City represented by Erling Haaland and Riyad Mahrez, while Manchester United's captain Bruno Fernandes was also nominated for the award.
Arsenal secured the largest presence among finalists, with defender Gabriel Magalhães, goalkeeper David Raya, and midfielder Declan Rice included in recognition of their significant contributions throughout the season.
The winner of the award will be announced during the Professional Footballers' Association annual ceremony scheduled for August 25.
It is worth noting that Bruno Fernandes has previously won the Best Player award from the official Premier League association and the Football Writers' Association in England.
