Real Madrid forward Endrick comments on the setback Brazil faces due to Raphinha’s injury ahead of their World Cup Round of 16 game against Norway.

Brazil’s World Cup Round of 16 preparations have been disrupted by Raphinha’s injury, with Real Madrid forward Endrick expressing his concerns about the winger’s absence.
Raphinha’s injury update has been a major topic in Brazil recently after it was confirmed that the Barcelona captain will not be fit to participate in the upcoming match against Norway.
The player sustained a muscle injury during Brazil’s second World Cup match against Haiti and has yet to resume full training.
Currently, Raphinha is undergoing individual training sessions as he works to speed up his recovery.
Endrick acknowledged the significant impact of losing a player of Raphinha’s caliber at such a critical phase of the tournament.
With Raphinha sidelined, Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti must prepare for the Norway game without one of his key attackers.
Although the Barcelona winger has started light individual training, the medical team has decided not to risk rushing his return.
Endrick, who spent the season on loan at Olympique Lyonnais from Real Madrid, commented on Raphinha’s importance and the dedication he is showing in his rehabilitation.
He said, “He’s a hugely important player. He’s a beast and we’re really sorry to be without him.”
“I hope he’s back soon; he was unlucky with that injury. He must be desperate to return.”
“He’s training in the mornings, afternoons and evenings so he can come back as quickly as possible,” Endrick added, according to SPORT.

Both Brazil and Barcelona continue to monitor Raphinha’s injury situation closely.
The 29-year-old was substituted before halftime in the game against Haiti due to discomfort in the back of his right thigh.
He has since missed Brazil’s group stage win over Scotland and their Round of 32 victory against Japan.
Recent medical evaluations have confirmed that he will not feature in the Brazil versus Norway World Cup match, with the Brazilian Football Confederation opting for caution.
Barcelona’s medical team remains in communication with the Brazilian national team as they follow the player’s recovery, aware of the muscle problems that have affected him this year.
There is hope that Raphinha could return if Brazil advances to the World Cup quarterfinals, but no unnecessary risks will be taken with his fitness.
