Erling Haaland, the Norwegian star, has set a new record in the Premier League Fantasy game by becoming the most expensive player in its history. His starting price for the 2026-2027 season was announced at £15.5 million, surpassing his previous record of £15 million set during the 2024-2025 season.

The Fantasy Football Scout website revealed that Haaland not only tops the historical list but also dominates the top ranks, appearing four times among the most expensive players in Premier League Fantasy history. In two earlier seasons, his price had reached £14 million.

Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah holds the third position on the all-time list, maintaining his status among the priciest players in the game's history. Salah appeared three times on the list, with his initial price last season set at £14.5 million, placing him directly behind Haaland in the ranking.

The list of the most expensive Premier League Fantasy players over time includes names from various generations. Notably, French legend Thierry Henry appeared twice with a starting price of £14 million during his peak years at Arsenal, making him one of the most valued players in the game's history.

Midfielders have had a limited presence on the list, with only a few prominent names featured. Among them are Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo during his first spell at Manchester United and Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, who ranks tenth among the most expensive players historically.

The continued dominance of Haaland and Salah in the historical price rankings underscores their significant value in football, not only for their technical skills but also for their substantial fan and marketing impact within the Fantasy game, which attracts millions of players worldwide.
