FIFA President Gianni Infantino Sends Birthday Message to Mohamed Salah
FIFA President Gianni Infantino congratulated Mohamed Salah on his 34th birthday and praised his support for the 2026 World Cup.
Gianni Infantino, the president of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), sent a congratulatory message to Egyptian football star Mohamed Salah on the occasion of his 34th birthday.
The message, shared by the Egyptian Football Association's account on the platform X on Tuesday, read: "Dear Mohamed, I congratulate you on your birthday. I wish this special day brings you happiness, health, and continued success both personally and professionally."
Infantino also referenced the upcoming first-ever World Cup edition featuring 48 teams, which will be jointly hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States. He expressed appreciation for Salah's support and cooperation in helping make this World Cup the most successful in history.
The FIFA president added: "I hope you have a wonderful day with your family and loved ones. I look forward to continuing our work together to develop and grow this beautiful game that unites us all, and I hope to see you very soon to congratulate you in person."
Earlier, Liverpool, Roma, and Fiorentina football clubs extended their birthday wishes to the Egyptian star.
Currently, Mohamed Salah is with the Egyptian national team camp as they prepare for participation in the 2026 World Cup. His future plans are expected to be decided after the tournament concludes.
