Erling Haaland marked his 200th appearance for Manchester City against Bournemouth with a new haircut and extended his tally to 162 goals, placing him fourth on the club’s all-time scoring list.
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland debuted a new haircut ahead of the team’s Premier League opener against Bournemouth — the first match of the new season and his 200th appearance for the club since joining.
Starting the match against Bournemouth, Haaland reached the 200-cap mark for Manchester City. Across his previous 199 appearances, he scored 162 goals, securing fourth place on the club’s all-time top scorers list. His contributions have helped Manchester City win nine major trophies since his arrival at the Etihad Stadium.
Haaland has won the Premier League twice, the FA Cup twice, the UEFA Champions League, the EFL Cup, the FA Community Shield, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup with Manchester City. He is now in his fifth season with the club.
His debut campaign with Manchester City remains his most prolific: 52 goals in 53 matches across all competitions. That season, he scored 36 Premier League goals — a single-season competition record — and was named Premier League Player of the Season. He also received the Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year and the Professional Footballers’ Association Players’ Player of the Year awards, in addition to being voted Manchester City’s Player of the Season.
In the 2023/24 season, Haaland netted 38 goals in 45 matches. In 2024/25, he scored 34 goals in 48 matches across all competitions. Last season, he claimed his third Premier League Golden Boot after scoring 27 league goals in 35 matches, finishing with 38 total goals across all tournaments.
Across his first four seasons, Haaland accumulated 112 Premier League goals — a record tally that underscores his consistent scoring output. His 200th appearance coincided with his new haircut, which drew widespread attention.
Haaland is Manchester City’s all-time leading scorer in the Premier League.
