Negotiations between Jürgen Klopp and the German Football Association (DFB) have advanced significantly, with an agreement in principle reached for Klopp to assume the role of Germany's head coach.

Sky Germany reports that Klopp is set to manage the national team through to the conclusion of the 2030 World Cup, pending final contract clarifications.

Discussions regarding the specifics of Klopp’s contract are ongoing, and his exit from his current position at Red Bull is anticipated to be confirmed early next week.

The vacancy emerged after Julian Nagelsmann resigned following Germany's unexpected elimination in the round of 32 at the World Cup against Paraguay.

Subsequent to Nagelsmann’s departure, the DFB announced intentions to engage Klopp in talks about succeeding him as the national team coach.
