Harry Kane starts for England against Czech Republic, tying Peter Shilton's cap record and chasing a century of goals.

England captain Harry Kane reaches 125 international appearances on Saturday, matching the all-time record held by Peter Shilton. The milestone arrives as he leads the starting lineup for the Nations League fixture against Czech Republic at Wembley Stadium.
Manager Thomas Tuchel expressed admiration for Kane’s enduring quality ahead of the historic match. "I'm not sure I have anymore words," Tuchel stated regarding his striker. He noted that Kane remains on the shortlist for the Ballon d'Or despite extensive prior commentary on his performance.
Tuchel emphasized Kane’s professional standards, observing that the forward never reduces effort during training or warm-ups. "Everything he does, he does it on the highest level, he does it consecutively," the manager explained. He added that since assuming a major role at Bayern Munich, Kane has discovered a new peak in both on-pitch and off-pitch conduct.
Kane currently sits at 89 international goals, having netted four times across the opening three matches of this international window. His objective is to close the gap toward the symbolic 100-goal threshold. His debut occurred in March 2015 against Lithuania, where he scored immediately at age 21.
The starting XI features four alterations compared to the team that defeated Croatia 7-0 on Saturday. Trent Alexander-Arnold returns to right-back, marking his first appearance for England at Wembley in two years. Jarell Quansah shifts into central defense following an injury to Ezri Konsa.
Myles Lewis-Skelly earns his third start of the camp, replacing injured Alex Scott. In the attacking line, Morgan Rogers and Eberechi Eze take over positions previously held by wingers Anthony Gordon and Bukayo Saka.
