Liverpool Confirms Ibrahima Konaté's Departure Following Salah and Robertson
Liverpool announced that Ibrahima Konaté will leave the club this summer, marking the third notable exit after Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson.

Liverpool Football Club has confirmed the departure of a third key player after the recent exits of Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah and Scottish defender Andrew Robertson.
In an official statement released on Sunday via its website, Liverpool revealed that Ibrahima Konaté will leave the club upon the expiration of his contract this summer.
The French central defender has been linked with a move to the Saudi club Al-Ittihad following unsuccessful contract renewal negotiations with Liverpool.
Konaté will depart Anfield at the end of June, concluding a five-year tenure with the Reds.
Konaté's Farewell Message to Liverpool
After announcing his departure, Konaté shared a message on Instagram expressing his sentiments. He wrote: "Dear Liverpool, five years ago, I arrived as a young player with big dreams. Today, I leave carrying memories that will stay with me for life."
He added: "Representing this club was a great honor. Together, we experienced incredible moments—ups and downs, titles, challenges, lifelong friendships, and painful moments that will remain with us forever. Nothing was more painful than losing our brother Diogo (Jota)."
Konaté continued: "Losing my father this year was one of the hardest periods in my life, but even in times of hardship, my commitment to this club never wavered. During the toughest moments, I gave everything I had for this badge."
He further expressed gratitude: "To my teammates, coaches, staff, and everyone working behind the scenes, thank you for helping me grow day by day. To the fans, thank you for your love, energy, and incredible support. Anfield is truly a special place, and playing in front of you was never something I took for granted."
Konaté also expressed regret: "I am deeply saddened that I did not get the chance to say goodbye to you in the last match. At that moment, I did not know it would be the last time I wore this shirt in front of you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything. I love you all, and I will carry Liverpool with me wherever I go."
He concluded: "This is not an easy farewell, but it is time for a new challenge and a new chapter. See you soon, God willing. You’ll Never Walk Alone."
