Manchester City has officially signed promising English winger Gonga from Leicester City for £12.5 million as their third summer acquisition.

Manchester City recently confirmed the signing of English international Elliot Anderson after reaching an agreement with Nottingham Forest.
The English club also announced yesterday the acquisition of goalkeeper Pierce Charles, finalizing a five-year contract with Sheffield Wednesday that extends until 2031.
Today, Manchester City officially secured the transfer of the promising English winger Gonga from Leicester City in a deal valued at £12.5 million. The club outpaced Arsenal in the race to acquire one of England’s most notable emerging talents.
New Manchester City coach Enzo Maresca played a significant role in completing the deal, having previously worked with Gonga during his tenure at Leicester City in the 2023-2024 season. Maresca was among the strongest advocates for bringing him to the Etihad Stadium.
The 17-year-old winger is distinguished by his exceptional dribbling, speed, physical strength, and high goal-scoring instinct.
