Paris experienced disorder as fans celebrated Paris Saint-Germain's consecutive Champions League victory, with the Paris prosecutor's office reporting one fatality and multiple injuries during the street festivities.

The French Interior Minister, Laurent Nunez, confirmed that numerous injuries and arrests occurred amid the celebrations following PSG's triumph over Arsenal in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time.

According to a statement from the Paris prosecutor's office published by "Le Parisien," a motorcycle accident took place during the celebrations last night in the French capital.

The rider, who died after colliding with concrete barriers near Porte Maillot, was accompanied by another person who remains in critical condition with serious injuries.

During a press conference, Interior Minister Laurent Nunez condemned the actions of lawbreakers who clashed with security forces amid the celebrations.

The minister disclosed that 780 individuals were arrested across the country, including 480 within the jurisdiction of the Paris police department.

Nunez reported that 57 police officers sustained injuries, mostly minor, while the total number of injured persons reached 219, with eight suffering serious wounds.

He issued a warning to anyone tempted to repeat such disturbances on Sunday, stating that security forces would intervene decisively and legal measures would be enforced. "We will respond with firmness and determination tonight," he said.

The minister concluded by noting that while most attendees came to celebrate peacefully, some individuals who were neither PSG supporters nor viewers of the match sought to provoke trouble and unrest. "We are here to prevent them from doing so. Our response is very firm," he affirmed.
