Real Madrid has officially denied any contact or plans to sign Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, dismissing recent transfer speculation fueled by the player's agent.

Real Madrid has released an official statement rejecting any involvement in negotiations for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, denying rumors of a potential transfer.
The clarification follows comments made by the Argentina international’s agent, Javier Pastore, who recently suggested that discussions between the player and Real Madrid might be underway.
Just a day prior, Javier Pastore indicated that Real Madrid had expressed interest in Enzo Fernandez, stating, “Yes, Real Madrid has sounded out, Real Madrid likes the best players and Enzo has been one of the best of the year this year.”
He added, “He is a player that Real Madrid likes and he likes Real Madrid, as he also likes other clubs that are there. Now we have to wait a little while.”
In response, Real Madrid issued a formal statement addressing the circulating reports: “In light of the reports and statements that have appeared in recent days regarding an alleged interest from Real Madrid CF in the player Enzo Fernandez, the club wishes to state that it has not made any effort, either direct or indirect, to sign the aforementioned player and, likewise, has no intention of undertaking such an operation.”
The club emphasized its respect for both the player and Chelsea FC, with whom it maintains a strong institutional relationship, underscoring that no transfer dealings are currently being pursued.
“Real Madrid wishes to express its utmost respect for Enzo Fernández, a great footballer whose career and quality are widely known, as well as for Chelsea FC, a club with which it maintains an excellent institutional relationship,” the statement continued.
Further, Real Madrid highlighted its commitment to institutional loyalty, stating, “Precisely because of the respect that an entity like Chelsea FC deserves and because of the principles of institutional loyalty that have always governed the actions of Real Madrid, the club considers it necessary to categorically deny speculations that are unfounded and do not correspond to reality.”
The club also expressed regret over the ongoing misinformation and the impact of the agent’s statements: “Real Madrid regrets that, despite the clarity of the facts and the lack of any action on the part of the club, information continues to be disseminated that does not correspond to reality and that only contributes to generating confusion among fans and unnecessarily harming the entities and people involved.”
