His destination remains unresolved, with reports confirming he is weighing offers from both Real Madrid and Barcelona.

According to Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo, French content creator Railes — a widely followed YouTube personality with documented links to several French players at Real Madrid — outlined Rodri’s situation in his latest video and expressed dismay at the possibility of the midfielder joining Barcelona.

Railes stated: “Rodri was supposed to rule out Real Madrid, and I fear that’s because of Barcelona. I’m afraid Rodri has betrayed Real Madrid — and the reason is Barcelona.”

He added: “What I’m telling you does not come from Madrid, but I am certain of it. There is a theory that this delay is due to exploring the possibility of registering with Barcelona. It is 99% certain that Rodri has betrayed us for Barcelona.”

Rodri’s Contract and Valuation

The French YouTuber continued: “Rodri was going to choose Barcelona. I hope I’m wrong — that’s all I have to say. I’ve received exclusive information indicating Rodri has chosen Barcelona, and I hope I’m mistaken.”

Rodri is under contract with Manchester City until 2027. His club values the potential transfer at between €60 million and €65 million.
