UEFA Issues Lifetime Ban for Coach Over Secret Filming Scandal
UEFA has imposed a lifetime ban on Peter Flashovsky, coach of Slovatetsko women's team, after he was found guilty of secretly filming female players in changing rooms and showers between 2019 and 2023.

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has announced a lifetime suspension for Peter Flashovsky, the coach of the Slovatetsko women's football team, following confirmation of his involvement in secretly recording players inside changing rooms and bathrooms.
According to a report by The Athletic, Flashovsky concealed a small camera inside a backpack to film the female players without their knowledge while they were undressing in locker rooms and shower areas.
These actions, which took place from 2019 to 2023, affected 15 players, with the youngest victim being 17 years old.
UEFA has imposed a comprehensive ban preventing Flashovsky from participating in any football-related activities for life. The organization has also called on FIFA to extend similar sanctions globally and to revoke his coaching license permanently.
Authorities arrested Flashovsky in 2023. He received a suspended prison sentence of one year, a five-year prohibition on coaching within the Czech Republic, and was ordered to pay financial compensation to the victims.
