Yamal misses Barcelona’s final training before Valencia match
Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal missed the team’s final group training session ahead of Sunday’s La Liga clash with Valencia, remaining inside the gymnasium while the rest of Hansi Flick’s available squad trained outdoors.

Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal did not participate in the club’s final group training session before Sunday’s La Liga match at Mestalla against Valencia. Instead, he remained inside the gymnasium at the club’s training ground while the rest of Hansi Flick’s available squad conducted their session under the coach’s supervision.
According to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan side’s number 10 was absent from the collective work despite having delivered a standout performance last Monday at the Spotify Camp Nou versus Rayo Vallecano, where he scored two goals.
Hansi Flick is scheduled to address the media at midday today to preview the upcoming fixture with Valencia. A Barcelona victory would strengthen the club’s position at the top of the league table following Real Madrid’s loss to Real Betis.
The coach may also provide further clarification on Yamal’s absence from the group session during his press briefing.
