After the post was deleted, Salam reposted his stance on Israeli attacks

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam announced he is reposting what he wrote yesterday, after discovering that someone had gained access to his account and deleted the post.

Salam said: "I am reposting what I wrote yesterday after it became clear to me that someone managed to access my account and delete it."

He added that "what Israel is doing in Al-Mansouri, Zoutrat al-Sharqiya, Kfar Tabniyeh, and other southern villages and towns—through attacks, incursions, bulldozing operations, and systematic destruction of homes, residential neighborhoods, infrastructure, government offices, and places of worship—constitutes a serious violation of principles and rules of international law and international humanitarian law."

He continued: "The justification for bulldozing and destruction under the pretext of the presence of military installations is contradicted by the actual nature of what is being targeted on the ground. Claiming that entire villages and towns—with their homes, neighborhoods, government facilities, public services, places of worship, and infrastructure—are all 'military installations' is illogical and cannot serve as a cover for their destruction, displacement of residents, and prevention of their return."

Salam stressed that "Lebanon's sovereignty, the security of its people, and the right of southerners to return to their land and rebuild their villages are issues not open to compromise."
