Al-Siddi Discusses Reform Steps with European Union Delegation

Minister of Energy and Water Joe Al-Siddi met with the Acting Director General for the Middle East, North Africa, and the Gulf at the European Commission, Michael Karnitschnig, leading a European Union delegation, and the discussion covered reform steps in the electricity, water, and sanitation sectors that he is working on in Lebanon. The delegation included the Head of the Middle East and North Africa Unit I, Ana Peres, the Policy Officer – External Relations in the unit, Abdelfattah Bitat, the European Union Ambassador to Lebanon, Sandra De Waele, the Head of Cooperation at the mission, Alessandra Viezzer, and the Private Sector Program Manager at the mission, Lia Boloni.
