Aoun: Reinforcing the Port's Role Is Key to Restoring Lebanon's Economic Position
President Aoun emphasized that revitalizing Beirut Port is essential for restoring Lebanon's economic and logistical standing in the region.

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received Minister of Public Works and Transport Faisal Rassamani, Chairman and CEO of CMA CGM Group Rodolphe Saadé, Chairman of the Beirut Port Authority Marwan Naffi, and Regional Director of the group Joudeh Dakka.
President Aoun stated: "Launching the container terminal expansion project at Beirut Port will impact Lebanon's overall economy by facilitating trade, import, and export activities, enhancing Lebanon's competitiveness, attracting investments, and creating new job opportunities," stressing that "reinforcing the port's role is a fundamental part of restoring Lebanon's economic and logistical position in the region, and attracting more investments and creating new opportunities for the Lebanese economy."
