US State Department: Hold All Who Ordered Explosives Shipment Accountable

A spokesperson for the US State Department commented via MTV on the judicial track of the Hezbollah explosives shipment file, stating: "Hezbollah, a terrorist organization, bears sole responsibility for the conflict in Lebanon, and its weapons have brought nothing but suffering to the Lebanese people."

He added, "We continue to urge the Lebanese government to hold accountable everyone who ordered, financed, and supervised the shipment. The return of deadly explosives to Hezbollah must be absolutely out of the question. The Tripartite Framework requires the complete disarmament of Hezbollah across all Lebanese territory."
