Araqchi: Iran will respond firmly to any Israeli attack on Beirut

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi confirmed in an interview with Al-Mayadeen channel on Wednesday that Iran will respond firmly if Israel attacks Beirut.

He added that Iran and the United States are studying the texts exchanged in the framework of ongoing negotiations.

He said: "We have never sought to interfere in Lebanon's internal affairs, and Hezbollah is an important part of its political structure," noting that "the end of the war must include Iran and all resistance fronts, including Lebanon."
