Army arrests suspects on various charges
Lebanese Army forces have detained several individuals on drug trafficking, illegal entry, and violent assault charges in different regions of Lebanon.

Issued by the Army Command - Directorate of Information:
"A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate in the Raas al-ain – Baalbek area apprehended Lebanese national (A.N.Z.), wanted for drug trafficking, and Syrian national (S.A.), arrested for traveling within Lebanese territory without legal documents, along with Lebanese national (F.Z.). Weapons, military ammunition, a quantity of cannabis, and military equipment were seized from their possession.
Additionally, another patrol from the Directorate apprehended Lebanese national (A.D.) in the Al-Salam neighborhood – southern suburbs, following his act of firing shots and throwing a hand grenade, resulting in injury to a civilian, and assaulting another individual.
The seized items were handed over, and investigations against the detained individuals have commenced under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities."
