Lebanese authorities have dismantled a major drug trafficking network, seizing a large warehouse near Hotel Dieu Hospital containing substantial quantities of narcotics. Several members have been detained, with more arrests expected.
MTV learned that in the context of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Court of Appeal in Mount Lebanon pursuing drug trafficking networks, it has targeted one such gang and managed to seize a large warehouse near Hotel Dieu Hospital, containing significant amounts of drugs. A number of its members have been arrested, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining individuals.
