Bassat meets delegation from International Finance Corporation

Minister of Economy and Trade Amr Bassat met with a delegation from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), including outgoing regional director Khawaja Afthab Ahmed and incoming regional director Thomas Jacobs, in the context of following up on the existing cooperation between the ministry and the institution.

The minister expressed appreciation for the efforts made by Ahmed during his tenure, commending his support for bilateral collaboration. He welcomed Jacobs, wishing him success in his new role, and affirmed "the commitment to continue cooperation and strengthen partnership with the institution to support Lebanon's reform and economic development path."
