This continuous escalation targeted several southern villages and towns, resulting in significant damage to infrastructure and homes.
In the Bint Jbeil district, warplanes targeted the towns of Beit Yahoun and Al Jmaijmeh, and launched raids in 3 waves that hit residential buildings and roads in Barachit and Haris. The raids also targeted the towns of Qallawiya and Toul, while the outskirts of Al-Ghandourieh, Froun, and Srifa were subjected to continuous artillery shelling. At the same time, artillery raids targeted the towns of Konin and Froun.
In the Nabatieh district, the Israeli army carried out violent raids on the towns of Aadchit, Jibchit, and Harouf, with the sound of explosions heard from distant areas reaching the city of Sidon. It was also reported that an Israeli drone was shot down between Nabatieh Al-Fawqa and Mayfadoun, while the Civil Defense resumed search operations for missing persons in the town of Jouya – Tyre after a previous raid, which resulted in the retrieval of the bodies of 5 people, in addition to new damages being recorded, most notably the destruction of a water station in the town of Batouleh, which led to the cessation of water pumping.
