Call to Issue a Law Suspending Deadlines for Financial Dues of Tourism Institutions
The Tourism Syndicates Union in Lebanon issued a statement calling for an expedited law to suspend deadlines for financial dues of tourism institutions to support their financial capabilities and resilience amid the current conditions.

Issued by the Tourism Syndicates Union in Lebanon, the following statement:
"The Tourism Syndicates Union held an exceptional meeting in light of the circumstances our beloved homeland is going through, especially the dire reality we witnessed during Eid al-Adha and on the threshold of the promised tourist season, where reservations are absent.
The attendees unanimously called upon the relevant authorities in the Council of Ministers and the Parliament to issue an expedited law aimed at suspending deadlines for financial dues of tourism institutions in general, in order to support their financial capabilities and support their resilience under these conditions, and to enable them to retain employees and pay the energy bill and operational burdens at a minimum.
Such a law helps to get through this stage without sacrificing colleagues. Hoping to emerge from this stage in the near future, given what threatens the very existence of this sector."
