Canada Sends 4.6 Tons of Medical Supplies to Lebanon
Lebanese Ambassador to Canada Bashir Tawk attended the dispatch event of 4.6 tons of medical aid to Lebanon organized by Health Partners International of Canada.

Bashir Tawk, Lebanon's ambassador to Canada, took part in an event held by Health Partners International of Canada (HPIC) in Montreal to mark the shipment of 4.6 tons of medicines destined for Lebanon.
The Lebanese Embassy in Ottawa stated that the event took place at Priority Worldwide’s headquarters in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, with attendance from several Canadian partners in the humanitarian and pharmaceutical sectors, as well as representatives from the Lebanese community. Ambassador Tawk delivered a speech expressing the gratitude of the Lebanese government and people for this initiative, emphasizing the significance of the humanitarian partnership between Canada and Lebanon in supporting Lebanon’s health sector during this critical period.
Joining Ambassador Tawk was Charbel Nemer, the Consul General of Lebanon in Montreal, who represented the Consulate General alongside the embassy. The program included speeches from HPIC leadership, Canadian MP Ziad Aboultaif, Bishop Tabit, and representatives from Nora Pharma, Pharmascience, and Islamic Relief. All speakers highlighted the importance of international solidarity in addressing Lebanon’s urgent medical needs.
The embassy in Ottawa extended thanks to HPIC, Priority Worldwide, and all partners and supporters of this initiative, noting that it represents not only vital medical assistance but also a profound message of friendship and humanitarian solidarity between Canada and Lebanon.
